Since 1987 the Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards have given public recognition to those who have contributed to improve road safety throughout the world. These Awards recognise outstanding achievement and innovation.
Each year the most outstanding examples of international road safety initiatives are given public recognition.
This year 2022, the Argentinean NGOs Luchemos por la Vida and Madres del Dolor, received this award from Prince Michael of Kent for their work promoting the speed reduction in urban streets, proposal made by the United Nations and WHO to reduce the number of road deaths and generate safer, greener and more livable streets.
The award ceremony was held in the city of London on December 13, 2022, where Dr. Alberto Silveira and Lic. María Cristina Isoba from Luchemos por la Vida Asociación Civil and Viviam Perrone from Asociación Madres del Dolor received this recognition from Prince Michael.
We are grateful and very honored for this significant distinction.
