This year, when United Nations is promoting pedestrian safety all over the world, Luchemos por la Vida launches its new awareness campaign in radio and TV to make pedestrians aware of their vulnerability, increasing their perception of the risk and to remind them safe behaviours when they are in the street, proposing them self-protection measures (such as crossing at pedestrian crossings or, if there are not, at corners). It’s estimated that 21% of people who die in traffic accidents in Argentina are pedestrians, and in urban areas, they can be up to 44%.
This campaign is being spread in radios, TV channels and other audiovisual media from all over the country and it will be on the air during the whole year.
