Luchemos por la Vida in Antalya, Turkey: Third Global Meeting of Nongovernmental Organizations Advocating for Road Safety and Road Victims

On April 4-5, the President of Luchemos por la Vida, Alberto Silveira, attended the Third Global Meeting of NGOs Advocating for Road Safety and Road Victims in Antalya, Turkey, that was organized by the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety, which this Association is member of.

This international event was supported by important institutions such as World Health Organization. Almost 70 members of nongovernmental organizations gathered to share knowledge, experiences and good practises about road safety. The meeting was also a perfect opportunity to encourage and mobilize the NGOs’s contribution to the 2nd United Nations Road Safety Week, about pedestrian safety. Lastly, the first General Assembly for members of the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety was held, where the next steps to be followed by the Alliance were drawn up.
